> [!info] Part of the [[Guide/Overview|Human Generator Guide]] This tab allows you to add hairstyles to your humans. ![[Screenshot_Blender_000200.png]] 1. **Tab switch**: Switch between editing the hair on the head of the human, the eye hair, and the facial hair (male only) 2. **Search**: Search for hairstyles by name. Press the `x` to clear the search field. 3. **Style selector**: Click here to see all available styles. Depending on your screen size use the scroll wheel to see all available styles. Click on one to load it. 4. **Style category**: The styles are divided into categories. Use this dropdown to only see one category. 5. **Randomize button**: Clicking this will load a randomly chosen hairstyle from the collection. 6. **Hair shader selector**: Human Generator comes with two hair shaders. A fast one that works well in Eevee (and also the material preview) and an accurate one that only works in Cycles but is more realistic. **NOTE:** If you choose the accurate shader, the color in the material preview will be incorrect. 7. **Main color sliders**: Adjust the color of the hair here. 1. *Lightness:* This makes the hair lighter or darker, but does not change the color. Set it to very high for white hair. 2. *Redness:* This changes the amount of redness in the hair. Set it to very low for white hair and very high for red hair. 8. **Color effect sliders**: 1. *Hue:* Want a dyed hair look? Use this slider to change the hue. Make sure redness is turned up. 2. *Roughness:* Make the hair more or less shiny. 3. *Salt and Pepper:* Want some white hairs, but not all hair white? Use this slider 4. *Roots:* Want a different color for the roots? Use this slider and two more will appear to adjust the root color. 9. **Hair length**: Use this dropdown to make parts of the hair shorter or delete parts of the hairstyle. Most HG hairstyles consist of multiple independent particle systems. >[!info] Want longer hair? >Want to make the hair longer in a specific hairstyle?
